Thanks to the new experimental version 1.0 of 7 Days to Die, many players are eagerly awaiting its completion and the game’s official release on all platforms. Some experienced players keep making the same mistakes and warn newcomers.

On Reddit, a player shared his experience of leaving all his belongings in a chest that unfortunately de-spawned once they started a quest, only to realize later that this is a feature of the game. So he warned new players not to do this.

Having been in early access since 2013, 7 Days to Die surprised many players by being a interesting title full of variations on the classic zombie game.

The goal of this title is to survive as many days as possible and build a base to defend against waves of zombies, which players find very valuable. The game has very entertaining cooperative aspects. Looting is the game’s primary mechanic.

A veteran player with over 200 hours made a rookie mistake and shared it on Reddit. This user recounted how he wanted to go to an area with better loot and, to be prepared, left all his inventory in a box, forgetting that it would disappear after a while.

He described how this simple error caused him to lose everything he had at the time, leaving him with nothing. It’s evident that anyone can encounter such a situation.

This user’s post went viral, and he advised new players not to follow his example. Other users started sharing their own mistakes and how they forgot certain game rules, like the vehicles always spawning in the same places, so you don’t have to leave things there.

These kinds of things can happen to any player, no matter how long they’ve been playing the same title. The game is unforgiving when it comes to seeking new loot.

One of the main mechanics of this title is that players can have their own base where they can safely store their belongings. However, they still face the risk of a horde of zombies coming and destroying everything they own. But each player must risk more to get better loot and survive more days.

Players are always prepared to get something better, even if they have to lose something in the process.

7 Days to Die will finally be released in its 1.0 version on all platforms this coming July 25th. The game has been in early access for over a decade and has built a vibrant community over time.

Many fans hope the game will get a graphical update and even be released on next-generation consoles like the PS5 or Xbox Series S/X. The studio might be planning to implement this in the near future.
